The Flood Warning continues for
the Tombigbee river near LeRoy
* until further notice.
* At 9 am Friday the stage was 24.4 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 24 feet.
* The river will continue rising to near 27.2 feet by early Monday morning then
begin falling.
* At 24 feet... flooding of low lying farm and pasturelands. Cattle in low
lying areas need to be moved to higher ground.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Tombigbee river near Coffeeville dam
* until further notice.
* At 9 am Friday the stage was 31 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 29 feet.
* The river will continue rising to near 35.2 feet by Monday morning then begin
falling.
* At 29 feet... pastureland becomes flooded. Livestock need to be moved to higher
ground. Old Ferry Road near the river begins to flood.
* At 40 feet... widespread flooding of Timber and pastureland. Portions of
State Highway 114 east of the river becomes covered by water.

... Flash Flood Watch remains in effect until 10 PM CDT this
evening...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* portions of southwest Alabama and southeast Mississippi,
including the following areas, in southwest Alabama, Choctaw
and Washington. In southeast Mississippi, George, Greene,
Perry, stone, and Wayne.

* Until 10 PM CDT this evening

* flash flooding remains possible as additional bands of heavy
rain from Cindy's remnant circulation moves east northeast
across Kentucky and Tennessee today.

* Additional rainfall totals up to 3 inches are possible,
especially where the more persistent rain bands set up. Five to
ten inches of rain have already fallen across much of the watch
area since late Tuesday. Any additional heavy rainfall will only
further increase the flooding potential across the area. In
addition to the flash flooding, many area rivers are now in or
will soon go into minor to moderate flood.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. This is a very dangerous situation.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should flash flood warnings be issued.

At 510 PM CDT, the strong thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 9 miles west of state line to 12 miles west of
Saucier,and moving east at 20 mph.

Winds in excess of 30 mph will be possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Wiggins, Richton, Leakesville, Perkinston, McHenry, Beaumont, New
Augusta, McLain, state line and Fruitdale.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Waynesboro, Thomasville, Grove Hill, Chatom, Saint Stephens, Clara,
Pine Hill, Millry, Buckatunna, Silas, Coffeeville, Fulton,
