At 1117 PM EDT... there were reports of minor flooding in Whitley
County from Williamsburg to Rockholds. The rain has ended... so the
streams should start to drip quickly over the next two hours.

* Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for...
southern Wayne County in south central Kentucky...
southwestern McCreary County in south central Kentucky...

* until 430 am EDT Monday

* at 1020 PM EDT... National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated
thunderstorms with heavy rainfall across the advisory area. Doppler
radar estimated three to four inches of rain has fallen in parts
of this area.

* Runoff from this excessive rainfall will cause minor flooding to
occur... especially along small streams and near low water
crossings. Some locations that will experience minor flooding
include... Burfield... Great Meadows campsites... Griffin... Hidalgo...
Mount Pisgah... Parmleysville... Powersburg... Slickford...
Sunnybrook... Susie and Zula.


Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Excessive runoff from this storm will cause minor flooding of small
creeks and streams... country roads... as well as farmland along the
banks of creeks and streams.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding. If flooding is observed act quickly. Do not
drive through areas where water covers the roadway.
