A daily record rainfall of 1.58 inches was set at Vichy-Rolla MO
yesterday. This breaks the old record of 1.20 set in 1947.

Tornado, reported by NWS storm survey.


            An EF-1 tornado touched down 7 miles west northwest of
            Lamar... and tracked 6.78 miles to the northeast. Trees
            along with a couple of outbuildings were destroyed.
            Estimated width was measured at 100 yards and maximum
            wind speed was 95 mph.
