June was warmer and drier than normal. The average temperature was
66 degrees... which was 2 degrees warmer than normal. The average
high was 79.6 degrees while the average low was 52.4 degrees. Only
one day got above 90 degrees during the month and that occured on
the 8th when the high reached 92 degrees. The coolest reading was 44
degrees on the 1st.

3.51 inches of rain fell during the month... which was 1.18 inches
above normal. Measurable rainfall occured on twelve days in June...
with 1.36 inches falling on the 11th. Thunder was reported on eleven
days... while hail fell on two days.

The wind gusted to 30 mph or greater on seventeen days... and in
excess of 40 mph on eight days. A peak wind of 61 mph was measured
on the 18th.

Looking ahead to July... the average temperature for the month is
71.1 degrees. Normal highs begin in the lower 80s... with lows in the
mid 50s. By the end of the month... normal highs are in the upper 80s
