... Severe thunderstorms Tuesday evening and overnight...

Severe thunderstorms developed across the northern sandhills
Tuesday evening and moved southeast. A tornado was reported 47
miles southwest of Merriman in southwest Cherry County. As the
storms progressed southeast overnight they formed a line of
thunderstorms with severe wind gusts, a few reports of large hail
and heavy rainfall. Below is a list of local storm reports and
rainfall amounts.
