* at 928 PM CDT... a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a
tornado was located over southeastern Oklahoma City... moving
northeast at 20 mph.

Hazard... tornado and Golf Ball size hail.

Source... radar indicated rotation.

Impact... flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
           Damage to roofs... windows and vehicles will occur. Tree
           damage is likely.

the Canadian river at Purcell.

* From Thursday morning to Friday morning... or until the warning is
cancelled.

* At 8:30 PM Wednesday the stage was 8.4 feet.

* Moderate flooding is forecast.

* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.

* Forecast... the Canadian river will rise above flood stage mid
Thursday morning and crest near 13.0 feet early Thursday afternoon.
The Canadian river will fall below flood stage early Friday
morning.

* Impact... at 12 feet... shallow flooding of low-lying areas occurs
near the river on the Cleveland-McClain County border from near
Norman... and Noble to the vicinity south of of Purcell and
Lexington.
