Coke... Tom Green... Runnels and Irion counties...

At 839 PM CDT... spotters reported flooding at low water crossings
at Pulliam and Bell... and other low water crossings in the city
of San Angelo. A line of strong thunderstorm extended from Eldorado
to Paint Rock... moving east at 30 mph. Additional rainfall amounts
of 1 to 2 inches are likely... along and east of this line. Only light
rainfall amounts of 1/10 inch or less are expected in the city of
San Angelo through 1030 PM CDT.

* until 1000 PM CDT

* at 659 PM CDT a band of thunderstorms from 10 mile north of
Sterling City to Sterling City to 5 miles west of Mertzon to
Barnhart was moving east at 20 mph. These storms will move east
to Robert Lee and San Angelo around 8 PM. Rainfall amounts of 1
to 2 inches are likely.

* Impacts from this heavy rainfall will include:
flooding of low lying roads and intersections.
Flooding of low water crossings... avoid these areas.
Rapid rise of area creeks... streams... and arroyos.

Weather Service Doppler radar 15 miles south of Vancourt... or about
19 miles east of Christoval... moving east at 35 mph.

* The strong thunderstorm will be near...
Live Oak by 910 PM CDT
Eden by 915 PM CDT
US-83 near the Menard-Concho County line by 920 PM CDT

Pea size hail and wind gusts to 50 mph are likely with this storm.
Heavy rainfall will cause ponding of water on area roadways...
especially those in poor drainage areas. Residents are encouraged to
monitor the situation closely and be prepared to take the proper
actions should a warning be issued.
